S-GG: Nearly colorless to yellow glasses, IR transmitting
S-OG: Orange glasses, IR transmitting
S-RG: Red and black glasses, IR transmitting

S-BG: Blue, blue-green, and multi-band glasses

"HOYA Materials" Sharp Cut Filter

There are 15 kinds of Sharp Cut Filters, from L-37 to R-66. Mark L. Y. O. R. mean each color, Colorless, Yellow, Orange and Red, and two digits means its marginal transmission wavelength. Filters from L-37 to R-66 are color forming glass to to change the charactaristic spectro by the adjustment of color forming temperature.

Sharp Cut Filter can shutt out some certain wavelength light within the wavelength of 350 nm to 800 nm to transmit of long wavelength light perfectly to stipurate the wavelength inclination range (Δ), transmitted marginal wavelength (T), transmission rate of high transmission range (TH), transmission rate of absorption range (TA).
