It is a filter that transmits only wavelengths shorter than a certain wavelength. It is used as heat absorption / cold light filter.

S-WG: Colorless glasses with different cutoffs in UV, transmitting in the visible range and IR
S-GG: Nearly colorless to yellow glasses, IR transmitting
S-OG: Orange glasses, IR transmitting
S-RG: Red and black glasses, IR transmitting
S-UG: Black and blue glasses, UV transmitting
S-BG: Blue, blue-green, and multi-band glasses
S-VG: Green glasses
S-KG: Virtually colorless glasses with high transmission in the visible and effective absorption in IR (heat protection filters)
S-NG: Neutral density glasses with uniform attenuation in the visible range

"HOYA Materials" Heat Absorption Filter

This is designed to have high transmission rate in visible range and to absorb the heat, named from the transmission rate at 750 nm, blue glass filter.
As well absorbed of the heat from the light source, usually it is used for slide projector and various light source.
As for customized size, please contact with us first.
Remark: To prevent the damage by the quick heating or quick cooling, it is useful to be supplied as the strong glass.
